The first card I want to show you was made
with one of the four new dies for backgrounds, the Tulip Love Die.
I also used another die from a previous collection called the Floral Circles Die Set.
I glued the die-cut product of the Tulip Love Cover Die on a light green cardstock,
so that the hearts appear to be green.
As a next step
I die-cut two tulips from the Floral Circles Die Set and
used the Ink Pad Sets to color them yellow and green.
I stacked them on top of each other and placed them on the card.
I heat-embossed the "with love" sentiment in gold and used a red cardstock
as a background for the small heart below it.
After a few finishing touches in gold the card was already finished.
For my second card
I used a different background Die, namely the Floral Grid Coverplate
to make a frame for the square shaped background die-cut.
The small flower additions were made by colouring a white cardstock with an ink pad
and using a flower die from the Garden Wreath Die Set.
The "Thanks" is from the Fancy Script Words HotFoil Plate and coordinating Die Set
I complimented it with a sentiment from the Floral Envelope Stamp Set.
On my third card
I stamped the Botanicals and Butterflies ClingRubberStamp in black and
used suitable stencils, brushes and Ink Pads to color it in.
For the layering effect I colored the branch two times and
stacked them on top of each other.
I completed the card with a Butterfly colored in pink.
The sentiment is from the Fancy Script Words HotFoil Plate and coordinating Die Set as well,
but this time foiled in black.
For the background I used a stencil from the Slimline Diamond Builder Stencil Set.
My last card differs a bit from the previous ones.
which I heat-embossed in gold on watercolor paper.
When coloring in with water colors I usually don't really follow any rules.
I just play around with a bit of color and lots of water until I'm satisfied with the results.
The sentiment "Sending Hugs" is foiled with the Perfect Sentiments HotFoilPlate and
then die-cut with the coordinating die.
I hope you enjoyed my projects and thank you for stopping by.
