A Holiday Card Full of Stories

The brand-new Twinkle & Tradition Release by Pinkfresh Studio is here,

and I couldn't wait to dive in!!

This Release is all about cozy holiday charm, sparkling details, and timeless designs that make your Christmas Cards shine.

For today`s project, I created a festive card featuring 

the stunning Tree of Tales Set.

I love how the playful pile of books forms a whimsical Christmas Tree shape - 

such as unique twist for holiday crafting.

Design Details 🌟

★ Background: I kept the base elegant with a soft golden cardstock and

 the Evergreen Sparkle Coverplate Die from the release.

It adds texture and sparkle without overpowering the focal point.

★ Focal Image: For the tree I used the Tree of Tales Stencil Set using 

a pastel color palette of Sparkling Rose, Apricot and Olive Ink Pads.

This softer color story gives the card a warm yet modern holiday feel.

Line up the coordinating die over the colored image and die-cut.

For extra stability, die-cut two or three plain white layers and 

glue them behind the colored piece to create a sturdy, chipboard-like embellishment.

★ Sentiment: I used the Once Open a Holiday Press Plate and the coordinating die with gold hot foil for the greeting

 "May your Holiday Season be filled with stories worth telling".

The foiled finish adds a crisp, luminous shine.

★ Finishing Touches: A few metallic pearls highlight the design and tie everything together 🌟

The Twinkle & Tradition Release blends classic holiday motifs with creative, fresh ideas. From starry backgrounds to thoughtful sentiments and playful icons, every piece feels versatile and inspiring. Whether you lean toward traditional red and green or softer, pastel palettes, this collection works beautifully.

Pinkfresh Studio August 2023 Holiday Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release

 Welcome to the Pinkfresh Studio Christmas Release 

🌟

 what could be better than sending handmade Christmas Cards to your loved ones? 

In this Blog Post I will show you how to make a beautiful paper Snowflake Christmas Card.

for my card I used the new Large Snowflakes Die Set and 

the Holiday Large Sentiments Stamp and Die Set

first I die cut the Snowflakes out of Watercolor Paper and white and pink Cardstock

the Watercolor Paper Snowflake I colored with pink watercolor and let it dry

for the background, I added a hint of pink color to a panel of Watercolor Paper

when it is dried I adhered a few medium-sized white Snowflakes onto it

I took three large Snowflakes, white, pink and

 layered them together along with the colored one and placed them on the background 

for the Sentiment I heat embossed a Christmas Phrase from

 the Holiday Large Sentiments Stamp Set in white on a piece of pink Cardstock

to complete the card I added several white and gold splatters of paint and

a few pink Glitter Stones and Gold Pearls

this project is a great way to get creative and

 add a touch of winter wonderland to your christmas cards

Pink Christmas

Pink geht doch einfach immer

ich muss zugeben 

dieses Jahr ist Weihnachten bei mir ziemlich Pink

aber mir ist im Moment einfach danach ;))

den Hintergrund ist mit AquarellFarbe gemacht

für das DiagonalMuster hab ich eine neue HintergrundStanze verwendet

dezent aber trotzdem gut sichtbar

 

HintergrundStanzen hatte ich bis jetzt gar nicht so in meinem Bestand

aber ich muss sagen,

wer liebt sie nicht zu Weihnachten

die kleinen Bäumchen erinnern an Flaschbürsten

zur Weihnachtszeit sind sie in vielen Grössen und Farben erhältlich 

genau das war meine Inspiration für meine Karte

ich wollte solche Bäumchen auf einer Karte

ich hab es mit verschieden Papieren ausprobiert 

und am besten hat es mir dann mit KreppPapier gefallen,

damit sehen die Bäumchen einfach am "natürlichsten" aus

da ich seeeeeeehr schlecht im Filmen bin, beschreib ich euch mal wie ich es gemacht habe

ich hoffe, es ist dann auch verständlich ;))

− zuerst habe ich weisses KreppPapier

 mit verschieden farbigen Stempelkissen eingefärbt

− ein Bäumchen besteht aus zwei Lagen,

also pro Baum entweder zweimal ausstanzen, 

oder einfach eine Dreiecks/Baumform ausschneiden

− jeweils beide Seiten eines Bäumchens mit der Schere fein einschneiden 

− zwei Bäumchen längs mittig aufeinander kleben

− mit Sprühkleber besprühen und viel Glitzer darüberstreuen

− für den Stamm habe ich Blumendraht gedreht bis eine schöne

Spirale entstanden ist

− für den Holzsockel einfach etwas Holzpapier oder ähnliches was passt

in kleine Rechtecke schneiden

wirklich nicht schwer umzusetzen,

mit dem vielen einschneiden braucht es einfach etwas Fleissarbeit

ergänzt mit einem Stempel aus folgendem Set:

keine Weihnachts Saison ohne eine KranzKarte ;))

ich liebe Kränze und zu Weihnachten gehören sie einfach dazu

bei dieser kann man sogar noch den Kranz zum leuchten bringen

am Ende des Beitrags hab ich euch ein kleines Video hochgeladen,

wo man sieht wie das Licht eingeschaltet wird

ich glaube, das einbauen des Leuchtstickers erklärt sich dann von selbst
